Employment at American Inventory Service, Inc.

American Inventory Service, Inc. is an independent and reliable inventory service that counts the inventory for retail stores.  We use hand held inventory calculators with 10-key pads and/or bar code scanning equipment.  We expect our employees to be able to operate our equipment without looking within a reasonable amount of time. (We offer training.) 

Accurate counters are our priority.  Speed is essential as well.  However, if someone is fast but not accurate, the integrity of the task is lost, which is not acceptable.  

We offer competitive wages for our employees.  Daytime availability is required, in addition to being available for weekend hours if needed.  It is rare to work an evening assignment.  We also have employees who like to work weekends to supplement other employment or students in class during the week.  You must be at least 18 years old to apply.  We provide transportation to and from our client sites.  We particularly seek applicants with experience in a convenient store environment or those with the 10-key by touch skill. 

Full time employees are generally recruited from our inventory takers who have learned our methods and procedures well. They must meet our criteria for promotion, which includes analytical abilities with numbers, proven dependability in attendance, accuracy, and confident people skills. Full time benefits include medical insurance, paid vacations, and Employer Match Retirement Fund.
